I have used South Antrim for years. I first used it to get out of the house to do voluntary work in a charity shop and get into Ballyclare. I now use it to get to hospitals they don’t send the ambulance for, like Magherafelt or Musgrave. I have a lot of appointments. “I developed leukaemia in 2017. I was in hospital from August until January and I was on a life support machine for six and a half weeks. I’m still attending the hospital and I’m full of pains all the time. It’s very important for me to get to my appointments. If it wasn’t for South Antrim, I wouldn’t get to them. To go to Magherafelt I would need to get a taxi and that would cost a fortune.
