South Antrim Community TransportSouth Antrim Community Transport is a non-profit making organisation and a registered charity whose aims are to address and reduce social isolation within the South Antrim operational area, via the medium of transport. We provide a variety of transport options including individual transport, group transport and out of area transport for medical appointments only. |

We are a member only organisation and currently have over 400 individual members using our Dial-A-lift services, and approximately 50 community/not for profit/schools using our group service. To be eligible to use our transport you must: * Live in a rural area (individual users only) * Be able to travel independently (or travel with a family member/carer) *Have no access to public transport due to the lack of it, or your mobility Membership is open to anyone over 16 who meets the above criteria. Transport can be used for: * Shopping * Local employment/training/further education colleges * Hairdressing * Medical appointments (GP/Hospital/Physio/Dentist/Podiatry etc) * Visiting (including friends/family/nursing homes etc) * Linking with existing public transport network If you have a Translink Smart (bus) pass, you can use it on our transport, however, you do not need to have one to use our service.
