For many people and those with disabilities across South Antrim, a missed journey can mean a missed appointment, growing isolation, a loss of independence, or a missed opportunity to continue on a learning journey.
South Antrim Community Transport exists so that geography, disability or income do not decide whether someone can live independently.
Our individual transport service (Dial-a-lift) provides a transport option for those who cannot access public transport due to the lack of it, or their mobility.
Membership is open to anyone living in a rural area who can travel independently (or with a carer/family member).

This service is part funded by the Department For Infrastructure under their Rural Transport Fund (RTF), and by the Department For Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), allowing members to make use of their Translink smart pass to travel free or for half fare with a valid smart pass. You do not need to have a Translink smart pass to use the service, the fares below will apply if you don't hold one:
0 - 5 miles £3.00 per single journey
5-10 miles £4.00 per single journey
10-15 miles £5.00 per single journey
15-20 miles £6.00 per single journey
